How to hold a Hello Kitty Party
Hello Kitty is a great party theme and we’ve got some super cute ideas to make the party go with a swing! From party food ideas to games and party decorations, we know you and that cute little Japanese cat are going to have fun, fun, fun!!!
Now how about some inflatable Hello Kitty’s? Not only do they look great around the party venue but guests can take them home as a really special party bag addition.
Crepe streamers also look really good. Twist pink and white colours together and hang across the room. You can also hang in strips from the ceiling or even from an open window where they will blow in the breeze.
Party food can also be Hello Kitty themed! Cupcakes can be colour coordinated with bows added in icing, biscuits can be cut out with a cat face cookie cutter and then decorated with roll out or gel icing. Dennasideas.com have some great ideas for creating party food with pasta bows. Use food colouring to colour the bows and then use them to top sandwiches or make a colourful pasta salad.
Party Games and Activities
Hello Kitty loves cupcakes so playing how about playing pin the icing swirl to the cupcake or even pin the bow onto Hello Kitty.
Copycat games also work well- play Hello Kitty Says instead of Simon Says.
Musical cats is also a favourite, when the music stops players pose like a cat and if you move you are out of the game.
If you have time print out some pictures of famous cats and get the party guests to try and name them all. Print them out from quizmasters.biz or find some of your own favourites.
Kids also love crafting so how about decorating a wooden jewellery box or notepad with some Hello Kitty stickers and colouring pens. Temporary tattoos in the same theme are also really popular.
Dont forget your themed party favours. There’s so many available- notebooks, stationary and stickers, inflatables and much more…
